Espresso, Latte, and Charlie Update - The Refugees

Charlie enjoying her stretch.

Espresso, all energy and rambunctiousness.

Espresso, racing and chasing.

Latte enjoying her morning break.

Greetings, Everybun!

We settled into our new routine of living in a strange place. The first day and night were trying. We had regressed a bit the situation became tense. We are not used to spending so much time in a pen, so it grated on our nerves. We were scared the first night and thumped a lot until our hoomin turned on the light in the room and settled down to sleep on the floor next to us.

Next day we had a nice, long "stretch your legs" break and it did wonders for every bunny involved. After that, we started to get along splendidly and made it all work as share the small pen space. We nose to nose most of the time, like the prime crew that we are!

This morning we did tons of binkies, sampled a bit of the base board. But most of the time we just raced around the room as if the place was ours. Our pellets are nice and big, we eat and drink and have plenty of fresh greens.

We will spend another night with our host and will most likely head back home tomorrow. Hoomins are very worried about that part since there are wide spread power outages back home.

As long as we can gas up for the trip, we'll use the Prius "module" as a life boat to get a break from the heat and humidity ;-) Hopefully, we'll get through this.

That is a major break with routine right there. Glad all are safe and a speedy voyage in your life raft back to home base. ken&kaci

Good to hear the crew is doing well :) Sometimes it's necessary for hoomins to flop on the floor to calm everybunny's nerves. Parents just got power back two hours ago, so hopefully, things will be back to normal for everyone soon.

Does this mean that the others accepted Charlie with no scuffles?

So far quite good! One more big hurdle ... fingers and paws crossed.
