Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

The good news is the very long short week is finally over. My hoomin's cold finally subsided, chores are done, papers on the estate sale are signed. It's a real day off today! Yeah, my hoomin had a day off from the pits yesterday, but you know how the wicked are. There's no rest for their kind.

We'll try to make up for that today, though. I demand head rubs from now until Sunday night!

We'll keep you posted,

The Bunday Evening Thumps

Good Evening, Everybun!

I guess I don't mind working another Bunday Evening post when I get the first picks of the saaaaalad. Charlie, well, Charlie is not the kind that runs out to eat because some hoodlum wants her to. Mind you; the dinner was very early today.

Our hoodlum got a cold now and been sneezing all day. I'm starting to feel sorry for the dude. I know he tries to abide all this nonsense, but a break every once in a while would be nice.

Of course, the break at work is quite something, so there's not much to thump about that. But I have to listen to things like, "You know, Gus, bun shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouf, but the people of Troy would beg to differ. And what happened to the rider of the horse? What was it? Famine? Where's the rider lurking now? Twisted minds like to know."

Sure, genius, too bad you didn't see my eyebugger sooner. He removed it, but by then, the pics were done, and I run of patience.

We'll keep you posted,
- Gus

At work, Buntie Crystal, purveyed a tub of greens on Friday afteronoon.
The Romains of Day kind of a treat to top off a crazy week.

We start with a bit of wheat grass.

The Romains of the Day go in next.

A sliver of pineapple.

A leaf of bok choy.

Parsley, have to have some parsley.

A bit of chopped dandelion.

We top if all of with a some rolled up cawwot shavings.

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

So my hoomin got a bit of good news this week. It appears that the powers-to-be at the tar pits abruptly reversed their course regarding the folks with temporary contracts. They all became permanent. There was even a very long chautauqua delivered by one of the foremen of the cauldron.

Now, my hoomin is trying to relax his neck. It's hard to relax your neck when it's resting on a chopping block. He said he'll try to take a breather, to learn from it all. Maybe it's time to stop waiting for the worms, maybe the thin ice thickened up a bit.  The funny thing is, even a piece of seemingly good news needs processing.

On one paw, everything changed, and on the other paw, everything stayed the same. The CFI bookwork goes on,  personal projects designed to bridge specific skill gaps also go on. I sayz to him, run like hell with all of it.  Bunfest, he thinks he might go to bunfest.

We'll keep you posted,
- Gus

The Bunday Evening Thumps

Espresso, chillaxing on Satruday after a long day of disapproving.
He finally made friends with the bundo he got at last year's BunFest.

Good Evening, Everybunny!

My mouf, look at my mouf, hoomin. See this? Remember it. Don't lose it. Hold on to it on M*nd*y. That one probably will not be as bad as the last one. I know, a colleague at the pits gave notice and left Friday. Your friend had his last day on Friday too. Another colleague went home last M*nd*y and helped himself across the rainbow bridge. It all felt like a cannonball that cleared the deck and hit you in the gut.

This one might be a little easier. But that doesn't matter now. That mouf of mine. Remember that mouf of mine. We'll thump out the rest and overbun in good time.

We'll keep you posted,

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

The important thing is eating, pooping, and peeing lights are all green and steady. And that goes for all three of us. During a week like this past one, that' is as good as things can get. It's like glancing outside the cockpit and going, "Yeah, the wings are still there! Maybe they'll even stay on!"

Our hoomin said the infection cleared up, and things are almost back to normal. On the tar pit front, things still look grim. There's no news aside from still talking to recruiters and such.

On a positive note, there's a meet-and-greet with one of the rescues today. Guess who's gonna come back home smellin' like a warren again?

We'll keep you posted,
-Gus

The Bunday Evening Thumps

Good Evening, Everybunny!

We have not seen our hoomin all day. He did see the homin-V.E.T yesterday and got some medicine. We think the fever finally subsided.

He planed one more thing for tonight and saved a bit of energy just for that. Our dinner saaaaaaalads will be served as usual. But in his condition, it's like doing an EBA, fixing a hobbled telescope, or something. We're hoping the scary bit is over.

We'll keep you posted,
- Charlie

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

We're having a grainy kind of day today. Our hoomin came down with some infection, felt miserable all day yesterday, and this morning decided to find him a hoomin-grade V.E.T.

Serves him right. That's karma, hoomin, karma I tell ya! Maybe Charlie and Espresso should pin you down and feed you a syringe full of Sarx, eh?

We'll keep you posted,
- Gus

The Bunday Evening Thumps

Good Evening, Everybunny!

"Have you anything to thump about, Gus?" asked the hoomin.
"Um, no, the snack is nice, could use more basil, but it's yammeh enough; why?" asked Gus as he nomed a chunk of a home-grown nanner. "Oooooh, wait, wait a sec ..." said Gus after a short pause.
"Hoomin, you're trying to get me to bail you out! Aaaaah, you bum! You've got things to thump about, and now you're projecting," said Gus with a smirk before chomping another moufful of Sarx treat.

He stuck his head back into the bowl to get some herbs and almost disappeared in it. When he came up for air again, Gus swallowed the bite and ran his tongue all over his lips.
Gus narrowed his eyes and said, "Look here, hoomin, you go and get your book-worming done. Then come back and try to explain all that to us, and we'll grade it with a thump!" Gus kept his gaze on the hoomin for a long then dove back into his treat bowl.

We'll keep you posted,
- Gus

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

Can you believe this? My hoomin forgot to re-order treats and made us a fancy breakfast nommies. We had Sarx with a dash of BerryBoost, dried strawberry bits, and homegrown nanner. Homegrown nanner - You hear it right! The latest nanner harvest was very plentiful; even we approved!

It's gray, rainy, and cold here today, so you guessed - it's a great day for a lazy bunday. For us, that is. And the hoomins? Well, you know what they say, "No rest for the wicked."

We'll keep you posted,
- Charlie
