Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

We shall overbun!

Greetings, Everybunny!

The hoomins are trying something new to bring about a bit of civility to Espresso, and I get along. We all hang out in the living room with a pen divider. I hang out with Charlie during the day, and Espresso hangs out with her at night. We've had a week of this and everybunny is cautiously optimistic.

And this here is an occluded bun storm of disapproval. It occurs when one mass of cool disapproval catches up and overtakes a warmer mass of disapproval. The two masses wrap around bun another and groom their backs. They can go like that for a quite a while. Our hoomin says it warms his gizzard to no end to see us being so affectionate. Especially during a week like the last one, when the tar at the pits turned vicious, vile and viscous.

Mr. Bun Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

Somehow, I completely messed up the anniversary post for Mr. Bun. It was the 13th, last Saturday. Sigh, funny how all at once the time flies and stands still.

The pictures are from May 31, 2014. We had a great EBA that day with plenty of wonderful disapproval, cawwots in the garden, and beautiful weather.

Take care, for now, Mr. Bun, and everybun says "Hi."

PS: The bunletts were beyond cute! They enjoyed 'sploring the couch and a little snack of pellets. They were very watchful of the silly hoomins around them and then went back to minding their own business of being incredibly cute. PS: Mozart, like his siblings, was very friendly and curious. Yes, it was difficult to tell them apart. They share a deep, dark brown color, blending into black. After inspecting the couch, Mozart decided that all the commotion wasn't worth getting excited about and relaxed, tucks out and all! He is a very chill bunn <3

PS: Michelangelo is one of the four siblings that are a few months old. He was very friendly and toward the end of his turn under the spotlight relaxed completely. We're talking loafing, tucks out, the whole chill works ;-) He's of a very fine, dark brown color, blending into black if the light's a little dimmer.

Sometimes, a bun needs an art break. Quite accidentally, I appear to be playing a character out of a Bun le Carré novel. Maybe "The Bun Who Came in from the Cold"? The almost black and white pics happened all in the camera (as Joe McNally would say), without any post-processing trickery.

Well, we have no plans for today. My hoomin says, "study, test prep, dinner saaaalad, headrubs, more headrubs, read, study some more, dispense treats." We're giving up on anything more ambitious than that. May as well be honest about it. If you're going to have a lazy Bunday, haz a lazy Bunday ;-)

We sent out our hoomin to visit a TBHRR foster family on Tuesday to take pics of buns that are looking for their forever homes. First, the family took in four buns from a neighbor. A few months later they ended up taking the mom and dad, and a litter of six bunletts from the said place. So the situation is dire.

We'll try to process all the usable pics from that night and make them available to TBHRR. On the blog, we can only dribble them out one or two at a time, and the word needs to get out quicker than that. Here, we'll feature the disapprovers at our usual pace.

Now, for something completely different. Today, Espresso enjoyed his lunch in bed. I don't think he appreciated being nagged with the clicky thing and the new light on a stand. Hoomin got himself a light stand and battery packs for the light itself, so somebunny had to take them for a test flight ;-) Poor 'Spressos.

No, no bun told us we're working the post today. We have saaaalads to pay attention to. Charlie can volunteer herself if she wants to. Darn! Look at that! Every time I try to stick my head in the saaalad, I find a hare in it ;-) Thump!

Well, the hoomin should take the shift today I mean, he already went to the "meet and greet," took pics, secured a little bunny bed for bun of us, so why not finish the day right? And stop whining!

Anyway, the word is Becky and Juju were very sweet, and they'd love to have their forever homes. Pumpkin and Snow attended the event as well.

OK, OK, maybe I'll help later on tonight with the BunSpace update. There, hoppy now?
