He has been in his forever home for over a year, and is enjoying life with his wife bun, Bubbles.  Spirit can be found on Bunspace  http://www.bunspace.com/view_bunny?bunid=23066

Big Thank You to Kenneth's wife for helping with the buns!

Spirit is a gentle bunny, and has given many nose bonks and even groomed Kenneth on occasion.

Zephyr, being the resourceful bun, keeps one eye on the sun making sure her dandelion patch gets the proper amount sunlight. The other one unfortunately has to stay trained on her hoomin. Otherwise BunChores don't get done.
Sigh..., the sun is always more cooperative.

- Thank you  Maclin

Princes Warrior Bun

Must be M*nd*y, that's the only explanation for such a crummy breakfast.
Never enough of nutriberries. And who told my hoomin to hide it under all this hay?
I head to eat through a ton of that! On  M*nd*y!

- Thank you Dorothy!

Sunday, March 23, 2014

Look at me! Why are you late with my nutriberries again? You're doing the rest of your weekend in the dandelion field.

Extra! The Dolly Effect.

When I asked Dolly for a pix a few days ago, she send one and then implored all her friends to like Disapproving Bun on FB. Within few days it got over 500 likes and hoomins started sharing disapproval. My hoomin almost fainted. Before Dolly's  help, we had maybe 2 posts worth of disapproval, not much at all (I'd say disapproval down to 1%).

The gravity of the situation was serious ;-) I wonder what would have happened otherwise. I tell you it looked incredibly dark right before the Dolly post.

We have 'like' button now and it feels like we got a new lease on life here.
As we talked about it before, I feel the blog is the 'disapproval blog of record' for multitudes of reason.

That said, I like to say THANK YOU DOLLY again ;-)

- Mr. Bun

Toes And Dolly

I think purple looks good on me. Don't you?
No? Why don't you tell that to my husbun Toes.

- Thank you Renee! Follow Dolly on her FB page!

Sure, try to take you eyes off off me. Come on, try again.

PS: Remmi is the newest member of Hoppy Hearts Rabbit Rescue. He is pretty confident that he is King of the Universe. He had a less than royal past, and because of that he is a grumpy little thing!

- Thank you Kaylie!

She thinks it's funny. We'll see how her ankles feel about it a bit later.
Would a pancake make this better? Yeah, a pancake would ;-) With nutrieberries of course.

- Thank you Heather!

I don't have a cigar, or a hat, but I wonder if you're feeling lucky? Do you?

- Thank you Kenneth!

PS: Cinnamon is anohter Netherland Dwarf, adopted  from the Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue by Kenneth.
He's 6 years old and has been with Kenneth for over 5 years.  Their daughter and son in law were moving out of the country and couldn’t take Cinn, he said "he can come to our home".
Cinnamon is the first bunny Kenneth held. And the reason he volunteers at Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue.

And here's Cinnamon's BunSpace page!

Dolly - A Little Disabled Rabbit

OK, time for nose nudgies now! Like my big wheels?

- Thank you Renee

PS: You can follow Dolly on her FB page!

From Dolly's page:

Dolly wasn't always disabled. When we adopted her at 3 1/2 years old - she is now 7 years old - she was perfectly normal. About a year ago we noticed that she was getting pee on her bottom - that's when we took her to the vet, had tests and X-rays done and X-rays showed she had a fused disc, mild arthritis & spondylitis. There was no sign of injury that caused the damage, which means it was a birth defect. The pee on her bottom was because she wasn't lifting to pee any more which resulted in it getting on her. So we put her on a low dose of metacam which kept her pain free and dry. About 3 months ago she started falling over, so off to the vet we went again & X-rats showed three fused discs, spondylitis, scoliosis & arthritis. So in just under a year she went from one fused disc to three, and she developed scoliosis (she gets worse as she ages). About a month after the falling over she wasn't able to get up anymore - and that's when her disability started. She is now on a low dose of metacam twice a day and doing wonderful.

Maggie Mae

No photographers were seriously harmed in the making of this picture.
(They've managed to scamper away. Eventually.)

- Thank you Tileboy!

PS: Visit Maggie on her FB page!

Extra! - Long Distance Get Well Dedication ;-)

Recently, my hoomin's Dad in Law, Michael, went through an open heart surgery.
All went well, but recovery is long.

And if you or someone you know is recovering, we wish them well as well ;-)

So, get well!! Thump, thump ;-)
We disapprove of slow recoveries!
