You have to be a Master Loafer to handle a weekend like this. Of course, Gussy is such an unscrupulous heart thief that he has to show up everybun every chance he gets!

I'm ruminating on all these new smells around me - bunns I only heard about from my hoomin.

I so hope that the sorry sod gets to do some art, any art at all. It has to be hard to form to go the whole weekend without touching "Graham Cracker and Mel."

But, I tell ya what, one paw in front of the other, and we'll return to our routine by Halloween night! OK, it's time for me to flop again and twitch my whiskers.

Hellos, Everybunny!

We're enjoying our vacations. I have the whole room to myself at the V. E. T. spa, and my hoomin even gave me my St. Nick's present early - a brand new loafer! I hear Charlie and that little fart, Gussy, are all settled in at Buntie Susan's, eating and pooping up a storm.

Of course, the problem with being away on vacation is being away. But our house was overdue for the project for far too long.

In other news, my hoomin had his big consult on Friday. The word is that there won't be any "New Normal" to settle into. "Normal" died sometime in January, and the only thing left from now on will be the "New."

The doctor confirmed what we were girding up for - Polycythemia Vera diagnosis. We know the treatment options, nothing drastic is needed, and life will go on. The progression of this thing is very slow, and there's a very good chance the advance can be stopped. The most horrible thing at the moment is accepting that, yes, this is happening. It hurts to contemplate the possibility that one of the treatments would put an end to flying. Talk about trying to never panic early.

To recap and "connect the dots," this started in June when my hoomin felt unwell and ended up in the hospital with a blood clot. After a deep dive, all the way to the bone marrow, to find the root cause of that clot, we got the PV diagnosis.

And what does all this mean for me? More headrubs, being doted on to no end, and everything else I want.

Good evening, Everybun!

It's been quiet here today. My hoomin is on a little arting bender. So far, he's been fine-tuning the arches in the painting and will correct more of those curvy lines later on. Then, there will be a little quest for an appropriate costume for our Xmas bunn. Right now, the poor thing just sits there, duff naked, only draped in lights. He'll pick up some "emotional support" books from a neighborhood bookstore. Something about Bundinsky, or is it Kandinsky or something. Of course, I'll demand to chew on it. And if I chin it ...

In other news, my hoomins bloody clot is going away. It's mostly gone, and what's left is slowly disappearing. Pathology reports from the bone marrow biopsy dropped, and they look pretty good - as far as the ignoramus can tell. What it all means, we'll find out Friday and let you know.

It's been a quiet week around here, except for my hoomins. They're hoomins; they can't help that it's a lifelong condition. But they are getting our house ready for an infrastructure project next week, and it's hectic. It's going to be so bad that we're looking at going on a "vacation" for a few days. Spressy will go to the "spa" at the V. E. T.; Charlie and I will hang out at Buntie Susan's Burrow. It will be interesting - Charlie may end up with another husbun or a bunwife- she's that kind. Her name should be "Charlie Gets" because what Charlie wants, Charlie gets.

But that's next week. Today, we're loafing and chillaxing. I'm hoping my hoomin will join. Of course, there will be another art bender this weekend, too. The X-Mas Bunn is alive with lights but needs a better getup for the season. It's still October - at least for a few more days!

Yes, we were hoping to get some pixes for ya all, but my hoomin ran out of time this weekend. How come? "Graham Cracker and Mel," that's how. The sorry sod had a great working on it.

In other news, another large, flat bin is on the way. You see, as much as like the smaller bin, sometimes I'd hop in, and my duff would hang outside, and you can imagine what that meant. So another bin is on its way since this morning.

And other than that? Proper, nice weather is getting here, and we couldn't be hoppier. Yes, it's been a very much "wings level" kinda day, and we liked it.

It's been a quiet week in the disapproving Burrow. The important part is my murderizer friend, Spressy, is still doing well. The hoomin set up for him yet another type of bin. Spressy doesn't mind it - it's even big enough to accommodate him and my floozy girlfriend. The best part is the bin doesn't require any filler.

In other news, listening to everything your hoomins think sounds fun until you try it. Take that bone marrow biopsy my hoomin had on Wednesday. There wasn't much to it physically - post-op pain and discomfort were minimal.

But, oh boy - listening to the silent pacing back and forth and waiting for somebun to say "blood cancer" to his mug really takes it out of me.
That's why I have to nap so much during the day. It's the only way I can get a break from the crazy. Anyway, in a couple of weeks, I'll have an update on the fallout from that biopsy.

It's here! It's here! My hoomin stuck his nose outside this morning, and the cold weather was here! Of course, it didn't make much difference to use. Sunday bunday is but another day to loaf. And my biped? He got to live the day by "Sunday is but another day to paint." 

But the evening is still young - and we'll milk it for all it's worth - more head rubs, treats, cookies, and more paint. Because, you know, that darn painting refuses to paint itself.
