Charlie, "I'm not 'The Dude,' I won't abide, and you can go pound your oppression and aggression, man! Oh, and hoppy New Year!" |
Gus, "And why exactly should I look 'appointed,' eh!? |
Gus, "Yeah, I'd tell you how I feel about fireworks, but you wouldn't be able to publish that, would you?" |
Greetings, Everybun!
The last day of the year turns out to be gray, cloudy, rainy, and warm. Gone is the "freeze." It's easy for us to wax nostalgic about the cold snap since it didn't even come close to killing anybunny here; the power stayed on, and putler didn't try to kill us with rockets. In other words, we're grateful, and we know we're lucky, awful lucky.
We're settled for the day, and if all goes well, our hoomin won't get any crazy artsy ideas. Maybe we'll trade some poses for cookies later. When he trots out the camera, we quip that that's not really art. It drives him mad, and he wonders if we're right. But we need to have some fun too, no?
And until we chat again, you all have a good New Year, ya hear!?
We'll see you on the other side and keep you posted!
- Gus
PS: The weird color banding in the photos comes from using the cheap LED lights on our tree for background lighting. The only good fix for that would be better lights.
