Bunday Evening Thumps

Hoppy Evening, Everybunny!

Well, it's been a very quiet day around here. No drama, no nothing. Espresso got a brand new bundo today. The "poor" guy has been using the little pine wood bundo that's about right for my size, so you can imagine how hard it must have been for to chillax with tucks out. Impossible.

Somehow, we went from winter to summer here. There was a spring minute somewhere, but we missed it. Our biped if starting to fret. He says he can feel in his bones how the Gulf is warming. Eh, we'll be bonded by the time we have to run. Let's hope we won't have to, but if we do, we'll do fine.

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

We are back to sharing a single room. One evening we even shared the same salaaaad bowl. And Gus came out of it with his duff all intact! Not for the lack of Espresso trying, of course. Espresso was Espresso, and he tried to go for it. One of our bipeds kept his paw on 'Spresso's shoulders, massaging them while Espresso nomed. As soon as he tried to lunge and get Gus's gizzard, the biped paw acted as an arresting harness. That brought the training session to a close.

Well, the hoomins thought it a great success. We'll keep you posted,

The second meet-and-greet was a wash. The rescue got bumped from their slat by some Chihuahua. Thump!

But if you thought the two-timing biped made the supper salaaaad on time, you would be wrong. First, he read all day, then cleaned up all bunstruction Espresso did and disappeared. Family something, something, whatever. Thump.

Well, at least we got homegrown cawwot tops and kale. So that was yammeh.

Nope, no sir, we're not amused. And then..., and then he said that tomorrow he's going cavort with more bunns! Thump, that's all I got to say! Thump!

In other news, our bun pile seems to occur more often and last longer every time. They think I'm having a change of heart toward that, you know, little guy.

Well, they were going great until you showed up, hoomin. In no uncertain terms, we instructed the hoomin to go back to his books. He oning about making progress, so, you know, we nudged him off. Gentry, of course, very gently.

We're not amused today, nope, no sir. The oak trees are getting covered in pollen, so we reckon that's it for winter in Florida. Mr. Rabbits Guy, you are most welcome to all the sunshine you want - come on down and load up, take as much of it as you wish.

Ahhh, if it was that easy, right?

And now for something completely different. We were finally able to capture an elusive moment of peace, love, and understanding between Gus and Espresso. At least we hope that's what it is. The good news is that it tends to happen more often these days.

Bunday Evening Thumps

Good Evening, Everybun,

Today we had low clouds, mist, fog, and, of course, a big salaaaaad. Today, my hoomin tried to keep his head in the books as much as possible. He made the run to get fresh, crispeh greens fiddled and pestered me with the picture clicky thing.

Oh, yes, we made another bun pile by the barrier today.

Vortex shmortex! Guess what we're blasting in Florida today? No, it's not the furnace. AC. Yep. It makes yar head spin, I tell ya!

Yes, it could be so much worse. It's nice a warm here, perfect weather if you will, but that just makes the weather picture even crazier, sigh.

And for something completely different, our hoomin had been catching us this week making a wonderful bun pile by the barrier gate. Charlie grooms 'Spresso's head, I have my little mug next to hers and 'Spresso's, and it's all quite lovely. But, you know, there's not enough good light to get a pic, and as soon as the hoomin as much as flinches, we break the pile to see what's going on. Hoomin is very hopeful, very hopeful. One day we might have a crew.
