Roger

See this bowl, hoomin? It's empty. I get very upset when my saaaaald bowl is empty.
Here, slowly repeat after me...

....saaaaaaaaaa
....laaaaaaaad,

together now ... saaaaaaalaaaaad!

Very good, hoomin, very good, you get the point now?!? Eh?

- Thank you Fleetie!

Thank heavens we escaped with but single eyed disapproval from Roger. I shudder to imagine the havoc that would be wreaked with full-on double-eyed regal disapproval from this most handsome Rex. Fleetie, for the sake of the world, saaaalaaaaad at the double, if you please!

I am shocked and appalled that Fleetie would make such an error! After those rabbits let you come into their quarters and pet their fur!
If it were a Monday, I might understand...

Roger, please understand, Fleetie might have just been distracted by your mesmerizing fur and lost his senses momentarily. He is merely a lowly hoomin and all...

Speedy: I was NOT tardy with saaaaaaaaalad! By the time this photo was taken, they (see below) had both demolished a great PILE of fresh green saaaaalad! Oh yes!!!

Don't let that look fool you!

"My" bunnies (whom I visit and feed on Saturdays, some weeks); "MY" bunnies ***never*** go short of saaaaaaaaalad! I am *very* generous with fresh green saaaaaaaaalad, when I visit them!!! Because I love those bunnies!

Roger is one of a pair of (I assume, brother and sister (Jessica)) Rexies, up for adoption in Manchester, UK.

They are the first Rex rabbits I have ever seen and touched in real life!

And they are starting to trust me! Last time I visited them, they both let me give them lovely relaxing head-rubs, and they even both let me kiss their lovely soft, velvety foreheads!!! <3 <3

And when they've all demolished one pile of saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalad, I go along and give them all MORE saaaaaaaaalad! They get several helpings! I am sure I give them more than I'm really meant to!

But I like "my" bunnies to be happy! <3 <3 <3

Hey lieutenant, look what we found on this guy! Mint, basil, 2 bags of nutriberry treats and list of local farmer markets. ;-)

I have to say that photos do not do their eyes justice!

Their (Rexies) eyes are SOOOOO dark, and SOOOOOOO clear and "sparkly"!

They are *very* piercing, penetrating eyes!

And their super-ultra-velvety Rexy fur looks even more amazing in real life, too.

And it feels unbelievably soft! Softer than velvet. More velvety than mere velvet.

Well, Fleetie, I just worry that the word for those eyes is "mesmerizing." I also find "saaaaaalad" sort of hypnotic. As far as I am concerned it is okay to SUTTR, but we don't want the bunnies pulling you into some kind of "twilight zone." Thank you for being so kind to them, but take a friend to pull you back from the edge, please.

Ha ha! Roger Approves Of all your comments!

(Especially the ones entreating me to bring him and Jessica more saaaaaaaaaaaaalad!)

Keep them coming!

Yes, it is very easy to get distracted and pulled-in by Rexies' amazingly soft and unique fur, and their clear, piercing eyes!

I only hope my mere lowly hoomin efforts as bunny-socialiser and saaaaaaaaaaaaaalad-bringer are somewhere near sufficient to satisfy ("please" would be asking too much) them.

I also suspect that Roger Disapproves Of the fact that this picture is a (fairly aggressive) crop from a mere iPhone 5S camera photo!

*THUMP!*

When I could, and should, have brought along, and used my Canon 5D Mk. 3 full-frame digital SLR and L-series lens to photograph him and Jessica!

*THUMP!*

"Stoopid hoomin! These aren't passport photos of your ugly, furless, earless hoomin head! These are photos of us Rex Rabbits! Now go away and bring the real camera to capture our Rexy perfection! Stoopid hoomin!"

*THUMP!*

Fleetie, I absolutely agree about the photography equipment, but I also stand by my earlier comments regarding "the buddy system."
