Bun morning, Everybun!
It's shaping up to be a quiet day, and we're glad. For breakfast, we scored a blueberry each. That's because Charlie really dislikes the taste of Potassium Citrate. When she starts to nom the blueberry, my hoomin sneaks in both medications in her mouf, and she doesn't skip a beat. No fussin', no wrestling over the syringes.
OK, we scored a couple of Sherwood treats as well. The tiny ones, shaped like hearts. That's a far cry from the assortment of the Oxbow ones we used to get. And don't even mention the greens. We'll bring the treats to our next appointment and show them to the doctor.
My hoomin remembered last night that he got us a couple of forage boxes from Lilly's Bunny Treats at the last Bunefest. So, we're still working on one of them.
I have a feeling that this adjustment is really harder for my hoomin than for us. Charlie is not skipping a beat - she's active, keeps eating hay like there's no tomorrow, and carries on as if nothing ever happened.
We'll keep you posted!
- Gus
