I think my hoomin tried to learn him a lesson yesterday - when the Universe whispers "loaf," it's a good idea to listen and loaf. Because the Universe won't repeat itself. Not exactly, anyway - next time, it may not be a whisper.

But, how's a hoomin to listen, with ears like that?

And for something completely different, it does feel like proper Fall, if not Winter, in La Florida. Unfortunately, the skies cleared and hence disappeared one of the clues that let you pretend something's different.

It's vital to the hoomin once La Florida boils him down into a Homo Swelteus, and he needs all the help he can get to suspend his disbelief.

Greetings, Everybunny!

Things really do feel a little Fall-ish. It's been windy and rainy for two days now, and it's chilly outside. How about that! Just when you got used to the swelter - pow! - try the cold stuff for a change.

Anyway, my hoomin said it's a great day to head for the woods. Who knows, maybe we'll get a little bit of peace and quiet. Or he'll settle for aping me and do some clumsy loaf imitation or something. Or worse, he'll pester my psyche with pens and paper.
