LITTER BOX HABITS: Good

NOTES: Skylar and Sunrise are identical twins and both are equally as beautiful as they are sweet. Very playful, curious and devoted to one another although sometimes Skylar has to remind her brother that she’s the boss. Fortunately Sunrise is more interested in playing and eating than trying to one-up his sister.

The BHRR fundraiser is still going on and cleared the 2k mark! :-)

Maya, Mira and Moonglow

PS: A little bit about Maya, Mira and Moonglow,

BORN: 2013
WEIGHT: 4lbs each
BREED: Mini Rex
COLOR: Brown / White
GENDER: Spayed females
LITTER BOX HABITS: Good

NOTES: Maya, Mira and Moonglow are part of a litter of eight beautiful Rex babies rescued after they were dumped in a park at only a few weeks of age. All eight thankfully responded well to the care they received at BHRR and are now flourishing. These three girls and two of their brothers (Mango and Macadamia) still reside at the shelter (three of their brothers have been adopted) where they are some of our favorite bunnies to spend time with! Mira (brown) is the “big sister” and she likes to keep her little sisters in line…but sometimes little sisters like to defy their big sisters and when that happens it’s hilarious. When the girls are being precocious they are snuggled in close and grooming, snuggling and sleeping in a perfect pile of Rex bunnies.

Daisy

NOTES: Daisy came to BHRR from Tucson and is a big beautiful girl with tons of charm! Daisy loves to dig, play with her toys, eat, play some more and then take a little midday siesta. She is an absolutely perfect girl for a lucky bunny boy and a family who will allow her the time she’ll need to trust and find her inner binky.

Fern

NOTES:    Fern is a bright, beautiful and head-strong girl who is looking for a family that understands a bunny needs time, patience and a gentle touch to earn her trust. Fern has not been treated very well during her life pre-BHRR but we are slowly showing her that there are lots of people who understand her fear and will let her decide when she’s ready to share her heart. Fern would also be a great candidate for a lonely boy bun looking for his soulmate. Rabbit savvy home preferred.

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Hellos, Everybunny!

Charlie was not in the mood to enjoy her saaaalad with the guys. The good news is she's doing very well after last week's scare. Our poop samples came back negative for parasites.

While we're enjoying our saaaalads, hoomins are fretting about this year's hurricane season. We got a good soaking last weekend, before the season even started. Sigh ...

Bun Fiction Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

Joey and Abby here. You know, sometimes the stars align just so that they screw everything up. Throw in a long, rainy weekend, and we were done for. You would think a long weekend would help. Nooo; no such thing. Now the story sits there, half-finished, plot wires hang loose everywhere.
