Checkers Fiesta

How did you get here hoomin?
.... yamm yammm good carrot...

Anyway, carrot notwithstanding, you can't stay here.

... yamm yamm yammm ...

You need to go, now! Leave the carrot though.
If you need to curl up in foetal position go back to your own kind.

- Thank you Ash!

PS: We can follow Checkers on FB!

It's Cheeky Checkers!

She is a beautiful cheeky Dutchie girl with a bunderful personality. She has lots of fans on Facebook. She likes to keep her hoomins busy, and she loves strawberries (as a special treat) and bananas!

When her hoomins are doing anything like DIY, Checkers acts as a supervisor-bun, or a forebun on a bunstruction site.

But beware: Being a Dutchie, Checkers is a powerful Disapprover.

I know I am gonna try hard to stay in her good books!

Hiya, Checkers! <3

Ooh, the disapproval is strong in this one. If I was DYI-ing, I'd be sure to measure more than twice prior to said single cut!

Is that a BELL? Dare I ask why?

Karenstoryteller said...

Oh, Sally, we all know not to ask for whom the bell tolls.... it tolls for all us inept hoomins!

Fleetie said...

Yes, quite right! Checkers will hop up onto chairs or tables to get a better view of her hoomins' work. She will be right in there, scrutinising things. Woe betide any hoomin who cuts something the wrong length, or tries to sweep a mistake under the carpet! Checkers sees all! Do it right, or DO IT AGAIN AND RIGHT.

Unfortunately, this is not a flattering photo of Checkers. She is a very pretty girl; check out on Facebook!

This really has the feeling of a photo taken somewhere we're not supposed to be of something we're not supposed to see or know about. I really feel caught red handed with this.

Hay there Fleetie!! Thank you for your kind words! Oh yes, humans MUST be supervised at all times! Just think of all the mischief you humans would get into if it wasn't for us buns to keep you in check! :) <3

Some dummy belled a rabbit .... a Dutchie at that!

Auntie Jane (It is official!) said...

Yes, Ijon, this has all been one very big mistake, except for the part about just thinking of all the mischief we humans could get into . . . . .

Hay Cheeky Checkers! I only just noticed your reply! Do you know which of your fans I am on FaceBun?

Checkers said...

I do I do!! How could I not recognize my Martin? :)

You're such a clever bunneh, Checkers!

Nose bonks! :)

Of course Checkers has a bell, so she can easily summon her human servant with a merry little jingle. I'm sure Checkers spent long, exhausting days and weeks training the help, and constant reinforcement and practice is necessary since the help is rather dim. Poor Checkers.

Too funny, Furbeast. Best explanation for a bunny bell ever!

I must say I an beginning to see the softer side of Checkers. I can't remember the last time a bunn actually offered me time in a fetal position.

Fleetie said...

Yes, Furbeast! Checkers has her hoomins well under control! Bell tinkling = Checkers is waiting for noms / treats!

So start scuttling, and make it snappeh!
