Site Update - The Hunt For Disapproval

Evening, Everybunny!

The plan for tonight is simple - reach out for some disapproval. We're still trying to adjust to not working on bun fiction on Sundays. The bookwork is moving along, yet it stirs up all sorts of soul searching. But that's a whole different post, an episode even.

Of course, in the meantime, our hoomin tries to catch us with an approving look on our moufs after we clean up our salads.

We'll keep you posted,

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

The summer snack sure hit the spot:
  1.     A treat made of SARX, shaped into a heart,
  2.     Shredded Kale
  3.     A touch of shredded red cabbage
  4.     Wheatgrass
  5.     A bit of shredded carrot
  6.     Topped off with a raspberry
That's the good news. The bad news is that the hoomins promised me another ride in the baftub with that little guy. I don't growl at him as much; I just don't have the time for him. He's here, whatever. Charlie hangs out with him from time to time. Whatever again. I'm just not a friends making kind of guy, you know. The trouble is, I'll probably mellow out over time. Sheesh! Don't tell 'em that!
We'll keep you posted,

Site Update - by Gus

Greetings, Everybunny!

So, pardon me, my mouf is full, but ..., as I'm noming my snack salaaaad, the hoomin is sitting down to update the Evacuation page. We received a little bit of good feedback, and we'll make the appropriate changes. The latest stuff should be in by morning.

The "bookwork" is going OK, not great but well enough. Hoomin says by next week this time, the first pass through all of the questions should be finished.

What about all these house projects? Right, I get the whip ready directly. We'll keep you posted,

- Gus

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

Ahhh, the bun days of summer are here. We're keeping cool, having contests of who can pee the most outside of the bit in the art room or how fast we can trash the place. Sigh, the hoomin keeps serving salads, veg snacks, and head rubs. We hang out a lot with him during the evening when he grumbles about some questions in a big, thick book. He says he can't wait to line our bins with it.

Well, we don't care as long as he keeps those snack bags handy. He wants some peace and quiet - that's a treat. That's right.

We'll keep you posted,

- Espresso

Site Update - new page: "Evacuating With Rabbits"

Good evening, Everybunny!

Gus here with a quick update. We added a new page, titled "Evacuation With Rabbits." As you may know, the hurricane season commenced not too long ago, and for us living on the Gulf Coast, it's time to think the dreaded "What if we have to run!" scenario.

My hoomins had to pack up everybunny and run away in the middle of the night, right before the hurricane hit. He had posted about that last year. The new page is based on that post, and we intend to develop it further.

Perhaps we can add items that are important when facing disasters order than cyclones. What about fires, or earthquakes?

We would love to hear from if you had to evacuate. What worked and what didn't? Would you add anything to our list?

With hurricanes, we have some time to plan and prepare for the worst, but what do you do when you live in an area prone to wildfires?

We hope you'll keep us posted, and we'll do the same,

- Gus

PS: Again, our new page, "Evacuating With Rabbits" is here.

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

Ahhh, the bun days of summer. The tropics are quiet (as far as Florida is concerned) and that's the best no-news news.

The hoomin finally got around to serving us the big salads.

The "Early Bun Special" included

    kale
    basil
    mint
    arugula
    parsley
    fennel
    wheatgrass
    shaved cawwot ;-)

And now, now it's time to loaf.

We'll keep you posted,

Call for Disapproval

Greetings, Everybunny!

We wanted to ask you if you have any disapproval to spare? Would you like to be on DisapprovingBun?

Well, post a pic on our FB timeline, message us or send it to disapprovingbun@gmail.com

We'll caption it and let you know when the post is up.

It's been a strange weekend. Our hoomin had his head stuck in a book most of the day. Now we're trying to beat the clock and make a post before midnight. Let's hope it's still Sunday where you are ;-) We're hoping that things will smooth out as we settle into the new, temporary routine. So we much appreciate your help.

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Stop whining, hoomin. I thought you're taking a break. So you won't need the tablet and all that rubbish. You didn't even know you had all those silly cables!
Gus cleaned the desk and decommissioned some equipment ;-)

Greetings, Everybunny!

It's been a slow and quiet week. And then Friday morning happened! Espresso didn't come out for treats and hid in the corner. His ears were cold. He didn't want any part of the breakfast salad either.

Hoomin wasted no time. First, Espresso got 0.25cc of L-Metoclopramide. The V.E.T. got a call. Espresso got into his transport capsule, with some help, of course. Off they went to the V.E.T.

Espresso received fluids and had his temperature taken. The poor guy was running a little fever and stayed at the clinic for observation until closing time. But he started eating. He nomed some more at home, but still liked to hide in the corner and his ears turned cold again.

Well, they were going to evacuate him to the doctor first thing in the morning. Maybe he picked up on that. Saturday morning his ears were warm, he binkied and swirled with Charlie for treats!
