Charlie and Gus, "You really do know how to get on our nerves, don't you, hoomin!?" |
Espresso, "It's a chunk 'o lettuce. I wish it WAS my toof; would make some things easier - get my drift?" |
Rheya, "So, you're a glorified cookie dealer, eh?" |
Greetings, Everybunny!
The week got my hoomin flipped over and on his back somehow, but he's wings-level. It helped to have Rheya set up next to his work desk. You just turn the chair, lean over, and there she is - ready for head rubs.
Espresso managed to sneak out to play paddy cakes with Rheya. We know he wanted to perform an act of murderism on her. My hoomin cradled him off; Spressy hissed, shivered, and squealed from the disappointment. He's been trying to be on his best behavior ever since, meaning he probably forgot about her.
For her part, Rheya is doing well. She enjoyed a little bit of brushing. Most of her "street life" crusties came out, and her coat is smoothing out. She is even more velvety to the touch than she looks. She also gained a few ounces of disapproval and clocked in this morning at 3.4 lbs.
Rheya found a way to run zoomies in her enclosure, mastered the art of flopping on her side, and sleeping with her eyes opened. If my hoomin didn't know any better, he would have had a heart attack.
One of my hoomins wants to introduce Rheya to Gus, but that, of course, might be the end of the foster adventure. She would bond with Gus and Charlie, and 'Spresso would salivate over two prospective victims.
We'll keep you posted,
- Charlie
