Charlie, "Ear? What ear? Am I supposed to have an ear somewhere? May be you had too much of something, or not enough, hoomin."

Good Evening, Everybun!

First things first - Espresso's eye is doing very well. It healed up very quickly after we started the treatment. Two more days, and he'll be done with the antibiotics. Charlie and I had our checkup last Tuesday, and all is well. We even got our nails trimmed - thump!

My hoomin worked most of the day taking pics on the farm and managed to bring some freshly picked dandelion and fennel. His trip to the worm "farm" was all fun, but half the day was gone. Oh well. Next week he has to work only two days, and he'll be off until next year.

If you ask me, I don't see anything to complain about. Ya gonna play and fiddle with the camera - you're gonna get it. I say, "Be careful what you wish for," ya know what I mean?

Somehow, don't ask me how; my hoomin ended up having a couple of work commitments today and tomorrow. Thump! At first, he thought it couldn't be that bad since he would be taking pics at both of them. Then the reality set in - it means less time with us. It's bad enough that the Holidays became something that has to be "gotten through," but how are you supposed to "get through" them without the extra disapproval support!? "You can haz the weekend if you work it off, hoomin!" - thump!

So, today involves a trip to a worm farm. Yep. You got it. Maybe you'll get to see some squiggly things - how exciting!

Tomorrow will be a trip to an organic, urban farm. It sounds to me like he'll be casing the joint. How come we're not invited!?

Seeing the V. E. T. was a good call for Spressy yesterday. He needs eye drops, twice a day, for ten days: something called Neomycin and Polymyxin 8 Sulfates and Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Suspension. Go figure.

Everybunny loves on him now, the poor guy. More like a fat, vicious, rat, if you ask me. Oh, hush up and hear me out, won't you!?

The hoomin tried to stretch and load on the rug with him and Charlie. So what does he do? He starts running around the hoomin and nipping at his riblets. Spressy thinks that if the hoomin ain't dead, it needs to get up and serve cookies. And if not, a little blood-letting should be enough for the rubber-booted sharks to come out and clean it up. What a guy!

No, of course, I'm not bitter. It's not like Charlie goes out to hang out with Spressy for hours on end. Oh, wait.

Sigh, maybe we're trying to get into the X-Mas spirit a little too hard - teeth and all.

The Bunday Evening Thumps

Good evening, Everybun!

My hoomin disappeared for half a day yesterday. He came back smelling of strange buns and seagulls. I get the scent of those strange buns, but the seagulls? He said it was a good day for a walk on a causeway by the Gulf. Then he told us about another photoshoot with Cutie Pie and Little Guy. Figures.

Another one of their hoomins, runs a Bunny Boutique on Etsy with all sorts of bunn toys and accessories. She lost her job back when the pandemic broke out, and she had to make a go at something. Now the store puts bread on the table. So my hoomin tried to help and had a blast with it. Of course, he ended up talking more with the buns than the hoomins, but you know how that goes.

He brought us a bunch of gifts, including treats, so maybe we'll let him off the hook this time. Maybe.

I keep hearing how nice it is outside. Even in this very poly-seasonal La Florida, it's supposed to be wintery.

Our weather has a mind of its own - it's fall and winter in the morning and summer right before bedtime. Is it springtime? Fall? Turn on the TV and figure it out by looking at the sports. Then do it again the next day because looking outside won't help you.

Of course, no EBAs for us since the vaccine for HRDV is still out of reach. So our hoomin doesn't dare to venture outside with us. We're all ears if you know where to get the vax in the Tampa Bay area. Thump intended.
