Site Update

Hellos, Everybun!

We are experiencing a lazy Bun Day. The summer decided to come back. It's hot; it's muggy, it's not right. Our hoomin finished all the chores for the day and even chopped our salaaaaad today. He took another practice test this morning, it went well, and for the rest of the day, it's going to be more review time. He said he made a pot of coffea and is planning to sit with us, flip pages with one paw and administer headrubs with the other. Well, we'll see how that goes.

And we are rotating the crew tonight. I miss Charlie :-(

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

We're still feasting like there's no tomorrow. Our hoomin is enjoying a decent break from the tar pits, so we're celebrating time together. The salaaaad toppings from Belinda (SmallPetSelect) are quite yammeh, and we sort of approve of them.

Extra snorgles. We often get extra snorgles when the hoomin takes a break from his bookworming. From now, til Wednesday he'll be reviewing stuff for the test. Of course, we know how to toss or clink a bowl if he forgets to take a break.

We'll keep you posted,

Hoppy Christmas, Everybun

Season's Greetings, Everybunny!

We would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas, Hoppy Holidays, a wonderful belated Winter Solstice and everything else that brings your joy this time of the year.

Yes, our goods arrived yesterday, and this morning we got to enjoy Belinda's Blend on our salaaaads. The herbs and flowers are very fragrant, and we're afraid the hoomins will eat it, or brew it, or something!

And thank you berry much for sticking with us for the past five years, oh how the time flies <3

Hoppy X-Mas Eve from Thomas at TBHRR

Ho, Ho, Ho, hoomin. I almost approve of ya, so put that in your stocking. And bring me my cawwot cookies!

- Thank you, Sunje, Kurtis, and TBHRR

PS:  We me Thomas at a meet-and-greet yesterday. At first he was very shy. He came around after only a few minutes and couldn't get enough headrubs. He was pick up by TBHRR (Kurtis?) just recently. Someone "set him free" in the neighborhood.

Well, he's ready to steal your heart and claim his forever home.

Site Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

Ahhhh, the frenzied Season is in full swing. Hoomin wen to another meet-and-greet with the TBHRR and brought us a bunderful little bundo made out of pine board. Well, we don't trust it yet. On top of that hoomin smelled like a strange bun. Espresso wouldn't even look at our hoomin.

Thank you, buncle Martin, for the very generous present! Well, get all the treats we want with that. We already got the bundo, and we'll post a pic once we get in the mood to let the hoomin take some.

The early dinner salad was pretty crispeh and yammeh. Now we're all worn out and ready for another round of headrubs.

Our hoomin reported there are three nanner trees in the front yard, heavy with beautiful fruit. Well, maybe we'll keep the hoomins around for another season ;-)

If you have festive disapproval that you can share, we love to post it <3

We'll keep you posted,

- Charlie

PS: The hoomin said he finally scheduled his written test for the 2nd of January. Thump, took him long enough! Well, at least we know when the clock will start ticking toward the practical exam. The written test is good for two years - so the practical better be taken before that!

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

"Hoomin, you *#@!ard!"
"Why, yes! There's going to be hell to pay for this!"

Greeting, Everybunny!

Today was the day. The hoomin sprung a V.E.T. trip on us. I thought it was pretty weird when, yesterday, he picked up our "contributions" from the litter bins. Today, he handed them over to the V.E.T. What a disgrace! Everybun got poked, and prodded, and looked over very thoroughly. Charlie got a little bit of earwax cleaned up. That's all. That's all they found! Thump! Well, he says he's relieved the six-month checkup went well. Nope, we're not speaking to him. I'm so distressed I need a double nannerini!

We'll keep you posted,

Maple Sugar Muffin

Hoomin, you ain't right. Bunny WHAT Friday?

- Thank you, Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue and Erika!

PS: A little bit about Maple Sugar Muffin. Maple is a Rex bunny who came in with severe digestive issues due to a very poor diet. She's coming around and has learned what hay is and how good it is for her! 🌾

Maple Sugar Muffin is looking for her fur-ever home 🏡 If interested; please head to our website for more info!

Thinking about something nice to do for the rescue, we asked what is it that they need the most. The response was "monetary donations to put a dent in the credit card bill." They have to get that down before they can take in any more buns. So we contributed a couple of bucks. The BHRR fundraiser is about to break the 3k mark :-)

Chianti

Let me see you make that raspberrini. I think you've been skimping on the good stuff.

- Thank you, Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue and Erika!

PS: A little bit about Chianti,

BORN: 2014
WEIGHT: 6 lbs
BREED: New Zealand
COLOR: Red
GENDER: Spayed Female
LITTER BOX HABITS: Good.

NOTES: Came from a breeder in Indiana. One of 400 rabbits rescued from hording situation. Is very sweet and curious. A little nervous about being picked up. Does great if you get down to her level. Likes to dig. Loves treats. Would do well as a bond. Needs lots of love and attention. Will need help with little box.

The BHRR fundraiser is still going on and cleared the 2k mark! :-)

- Thank you, Dorothy!

Sven and Dusty

You know the routine, hoomin. Raspberrini - and make it snappeh!

- Thank you, Abe!

PS: Abe says, "This is my bunny, Sven and this is my parents’ dog, Dusty. Dusty is in the kitchen and Sven is in the living room, but Dusty is always scared of Sven! When Sven hops around and gets close to Dusty, she always tries to get away from him.😏😂 Sometimes I bring my bunny over my parents’ house and Dusty is always scared of Sven and always keeps away from him."

Site Update

"Oh well. She's glowing with disapproval. So much for the romantic saaaaald by the salt lamp I guess."

"Fresh kale; fresh kale is very romantic."

Greetings, Everybunny!

Well, the hoomin didn't take the brush to my mane yesterday. Yeah, he rotated the crew, served the biiiiig dinner saaaaald and thought that would do it for the rainy, dreary day. You know what? I can't get all giddy on a dime when I go from Gus to Espresso. I need time. Silly hoomin, he got the lights all wrong anyway.

He's been reading all day today. Mumbled something about a practice test going very well. Pfft. Where's the Sunday Saaaaalad, eh?

OK, back to snorgling with 'Spress in the bundo.
We'll keep you posted.

- Charlie

PS: Have you any X-mass disapproval to spare? We would love to post and celebrate your festivities <3

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

Rain. Rain. More rain. Wind. Rain. Thunder! Rain. It's that kind of day.

What we want is a cask of nanner grog, but, you know, the hoomin. The hoomin is good for nothing on days like these. He promised to take the brush to Charlie's mane. Then again, he just might stay buried in that FAA book on instructing. Sheesh.

Yes, Charlie is hanging out with that dude, Gus. Hoomin promised me that the crew would be rotated this evening. We shall see. And we'll keep you posted.

Sugar

I ran out of patience five minutes ago, hoomin!

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack and TBHRR

PS: Sugar and Spice are very sweet couple. Even as they demand punctuality from their hoomins. They were both very relaxed and friendly during the meet and greet. They are looking for their forever home as a bonded pair.

Beaujangles and Bliss (tbhrr)

Wait, what?!? It's only Thumpday? It feels like a Friday!

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack and TBHRR

PS: Beaujangles and Bliss are so sweet and work so well together. Beaujangles takes care of all the extrovert stuff and Bliss dishes out the disapproval and disdain. When they find their forever home, they are sure to keep the hoomins in line ;-)

Cocoa Puff (tbhrr)

Wow, that's a horrible story, hoomin. I better lie down for this one. And where's my nannerini?

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack, and TBHRR

PS: Cocoa Puff, I know you're looking for your forever home, but would you mind returning that heart you stole? You sweet, wascally wabbit, you!

Site Update

Oh, hi there, Everybunny!

"Bundo, shmundo, hoomin. I'd give you a quarter to call somebun that cares, but I spent it on a carrotini." That's the word from Espresso. He is not impressed. Well, we I have not seen him for a couple of days, and here he is, in a foul mood. I, on the other paw, enjoy the bundo very much. I also like my privacy, so the hoomin will get a pic of it when I'm in the mood for it. And now I'm not in the mood for it.

It's a groovy and cloudy day here. Rain and wind, then more rain, and more wind. We're chillaxing, and there is still plenty of fresh greens left in our bowls.

Our hoomin said he's taking the first practice test in a bit. He's been wandering about with index cards in his paws, mumbling under his nose, trying to summon the demons of physics or something.

We'll keep you posted,

- Charlie

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Hellos, Everybunny!

So, the word in the burrow is that we're getting a bundo. It's been a while since had a new one and we're looking forward to it. It's drying right now; the hoomin said something about having to glue the bottom or whatever. We'll have an updated on that tomorrow. Yes, fascinating stuff. Not as exciting though as regular treats of fresh wheatgrass. Hoomin got a whole pound bag of it.

Thus, we have a question. What do you think of wheatgrass and in what quantities would you enjoy them? Is there anything about wheat grass that makes it undesirable or dangerous beyond certain amounts?

I have not seen Espresso for a day or so, but we're supposed to rotate the crew tomorrow so, we'll keep you posted.

Spiece, of Sugar and Spice (tbhrr)

Sugar, honey, why are you so mad? You're glowing with disapproval. I told you, I will put the hoomins out in the garage and the house will be our for the party.
- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack, and TBHRR

PS: Spice is a very level-headed bun. Both Spice and Sugar took all the commotion of meet-and-greet in stride. They were deceptively calm and friendly, setting traps for hoomins. Before you know, they will have your heart in a bag, and you won't even notice until it's too late. It happens even faster when you offer them headrubs and backrubs ;-)

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack and TBHRR

Bliss (tbhrr)

Nope, no sir, not coming out!

Keep your paws where I can see them, hoomin!

It's not even close to Friday, is it?

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack and TBHRR

PS: Bliss was very guarded and skeptical of the silly, hairless ape in her pen. She did not approve of the picture clicker. Bliss and Beaujangles are a bonded pair and are looking for their forever home.

Beaujangles

Hoomin, do you need another pep talk?

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack and TBHRR

PS: Beaujangles and Bliss are a bonded pair and are looking for their forever home. Beaujangles is the more outgoing one of the crew. He was very friendly and, of course, delighted in headrubs.
