Cocoa Puff (tbhrr)

Wow, that's a horrible story, hoomin. I better lie down for this one. And where's my nannerini?

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack, and TBHRR

PS: Cocoa Puff, I know you're looking for your forever home, but would you mind returning that heart you stole? You sweet, wascally wabbit, you!

Site Update

Oh, hi there, Everybunny!

"Bundo, shmundo, hoomin. I'd give you a quarter to call somebun that cares, but I spent it on a carrotini." That's the word from Espresso. He is not impressed. Well, we I have not seen him for a couple of days, and here he is, in a foul mood. I, on the other paw, enjoy the bundo very much. I also like my privacy, so the hoomin will get a pic of it when I'm in the mood for it. And now I'm not in the mood for it.

It's a groovy and cloudy day here. Rain and wind, then more rain, and more wind. We're chillaxing, and there is still plenty of fresh greens left in our bowls.

Our hoomin said he's taking the first practice test in a bit. He's been wandering about with index cards in his paws, mumbling under his nose, trying to summon the demons of physics or something.

We'll keep you posted,

- Charlie

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Hellos, Everybunny!

So, the word in the burrow is that we're getting a bundo. It's been a while since had a new one and we're looking forward to it. It's drying right now; the hoomin said something about having to glue the bottom or whatever. We'll have an updated on that tomorrow. Yes, fascinating stuff. Not as exciting though as regular treats of fresh wheatgrass. Hoomin got a whole pound bag of it.

Thus, we have a question. What do you think of wheatgrass and in what quantities would you enjoy them? Is there anything about wheat grass that makes it undesirable or dangerous beyond certain amounts?

I have not seen Espresso for a day or so, but we're supposed to rotate the crew tomorrow so, we'll keep you posted.

Spiece, of Sugar and Spice (tbhrr)

Sugar, honey, why are you so mad? You're glowing with disapproval. I told you, I will put the hoomins out in the garage and the house will be our for the party.
- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack, and TBHRR

PS: Spice is a very level-headed bun. Both Spice and Sugar took all the commotion of meet-and-greet in stride. They were deceptively calm and friendly, setting traps for hoomins. Before you know, they will have your heart in a bag, and you won't even notice until it's too late. It happens even faster when you offer them headrubs and backrubs ;-)

Sugar and Spice

You call that "snappeh"?

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack and TBHRR

PS: Sugar and Spice are a wonderful, friendly, bonded pair looking for a forever home. Both were very relaxed, curious and friendly. We joined them when it was Sugar's turn to dispense disapproval.

Bliss (tbhrr)

Nope, no sir, not coming out!

Keep your paws where I can see them, hoomin!

It's not even close to Friday, is it?

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack and TBHRR

PS: Bliss was very guarded and skeptical of the silly, hairless ape in her pen. She did not approve of the picture clicker. Bliss and Beaujangles are a bonded pair and are looking for their forever home.

Beaujangles

Hoomin, do you need another pep talk?

- Thank you, Stefanie, Jack and TBHRR

PS: Beaujangles and Bliss are a bonded pair and are looking for their forever home. Beaujangles is the more outgoing one of the crew. He was very friendly and, of course, delighted in headrubs.

Cocoa Puff

Oh, M*nd*y Shm*nd*y my duff, hoomin. Headrubs, I need more headrubs!

- Thank you, Stefanie and TBHRR

PS: Cocoa Puff is such a sweet character. He didn't mind the hoomin hanging out in his enclosure for the picture taking. He sized up the silly ape and decided all was well to stretch out with tucks out and all. Of course, he's a connoisseur of head rubs. Yes, he enjoyed them very much.

Site Update

Greetings, Everybunny!

We're having a lazy bun day. There was a catch, of course. See, hoomin got a gift over Thanksgiving from Abby (our hoomin's sister-in-law). It's a beautiful set of two, handmade cups by Luba Sharapan, a local artist in Ashville, NC (placeholder site at http://www.darnpottery.com/).

So we tested it to see how useful it is to, you know, us. And yes, a snack of wheatgrass from them was delightful. Even Espresso approved! Hoomin said he would test the cups with coffea as soon as we let him.

Unfortunately, Espresso still does not approve of me, so, you know, that's a bummer.

Sigh, we'll keep you posted. Now I have to chase the hoomin back to book-work.

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Where have you been, hoomin? Do you know what time it is?

Is that  ... ? I'm smelling a strange bun on you, and it's not Gus! It's not Espresso either! You've been gone all day, and you still owe us a saaaaaalad.

"Charlie, I had to get on an EBA to PetsMart in Tampa. We met more buns and their hoomins from TBHRR. Yes, I dispensed headrubs and nosebonks."

Yeah, well ... I still don't wanna see you. There better be a saaaaaalad on the plate and pronto!

We'll keep you posted - I guess. THUMP!

- Charlie

PS: Charlie's right. It's been a long day on top of a long week. But the EBA to meet more buns and take more pix of them was great. We'll post them next week. We're off to make that saaaalad now ;-) <3
