Gus, "Dang, that was a pretty good week!" |
Charlie, "I poop in the general direction of your clean up." |
Espresso, "That's great, now cut it out already!" |
Hellos, Everybunny!
We are hoppy to report a huge win for rabbits in the area. On Thursday, the City Council of St. Petersburg, Florida, unanimously passed the ban on retail sales of rabbits in pet stores!
Our buntie Susan spoke up for us, and many other bunn people followed her, giving voice to the voiceless.
You can see the bunn-related portion of the hearing right here:

But I sayz it must have been my disapproving mouf that hoomin attached to his politely worded letter to the Council!
And what did WE get when Friday rolled around? A clean-up day - that's what. We had to re-poop everything everywhere because the silly biped "cleaned up" the bins and whatnot. What he really wanted was to get the tar pit day off of him. We let him enjoy that for a minute.
This morning, my hairless wonder declared he was ready for the weekend - all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. What the thump?
He says he can think about what's going on with his medical adventures through art metaphors for the first time ever. It's a relief because describing everything in the flying tongue becomes one-dimensional, grim, and panicky. It felt crippling and stifling to be stuck in a single universe. Good on him, but we have to get on with naps and loafs. And Bun help us - he'll probably brush us or something - thump!
We'll keep you posted!
- Gus
PS:
If you're the circus-going type, we have an idea. Try to schedule and
coordinate a medical procedure, a couple of blood draws, and a follow-up
or two. It's a divine experience - Fellini is jealous. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federico_Fellini)
