All just too much! I have always wondered how two "cords" of any sort - shoe laces, wires, strings, tree-lights - left to themselves in perfect separation - would magically become wound together in untractable positions. Now I see - Shiner-bunn and friends.
Had to laugh! Reminds me of the time a red and a blue cord suddenly appeared on the floor. Couldn't figure out where they'd come from. Then we realized, they were lying in front of the book shelf that Tika (our diva) knows to be "hers". There had been a copy of the "Klutz Book of Knots" on said shelf. She had very carefully untied the cords, that had been individually knotted through the cover, without severing or even damaging them, and laid them carefully in front of "her" shelf. Such bunneh dexterity & blatant statement of territory! ....... Though, as I'm looking at this photo again, and seeing the fearsome disapproval in Shiner's eyes, I realize he's doing quite the opposite of Tika. These laces will be fused together. Permanently. Rick had best keep any vital appendages far, far away whenever that look appears again in Shiner's eyes!
Shiner in a live demo to bunny students: "For the busy house bun, the key is to minimize work in order to maximize precious nap time. Please pay close attention as I show you how to efficiently sever two shoelaces with one quick chomp, as you will be expected to practice this at home. This technique also works well with phone cords, chargers and hoomin fingers."
Actually, Shiner is even more devious than that. He likes to chew the laces about 90% of the way through. Then when you try to tie them, they break. He seems to think that's highly amusing.
Aha! It's nuclear fission, not fusion! Bottle that, and our energy crisis is ended forever - NOT that I am even vaguely suggesting that our bun overlords work for us, in the slightest, at all, in any way ...... uh oh, I'm toast, aren't I?

"And do you, Left Tennis Shoe, take this tennis shoe to be your lawfully wedded tennis shoe?"
This is what happens when you leave things in Shiner's space. He doesn't say much, but you do get the message.

At least Shiner isn't tying them together while they are on someone's feet. Bun pranks!
RG, there is at least one serious epistemological question here. Does knowing make it better?

In the UK at least, "shiner" can mean a black eye (as in from a punch to the eye).
I am guessing that Shiner is not so called by accident.
I am guessing that WE could be next, if we don't straighten up and fly right!

You are 100% correct.

It's more fun that way ;-)
