We would like to pay our respects to Karat, who passed away a little while ago after a battle with GI stasis. Karat lost her sister, Katnis, a few months ago. Our little hearts go out to her hoomin, Buntie Susan.
Our hoomin got to spend a little bit of time with Karat while she was at one of our local vets, comforting her while the good doctor was brainstorming ways to save Karat. All of us are torn up by this loss and would like to extend our most sincere condolences to Buntie Susan.

While I confess the hurt is enormous and real, I'm grateful Karat and Katniss are reunited. I'm left here with the memories of my two fluffy slippers cavorting around our bedroom. Their French inspired Christmas tree will now serve as a tribute tree to my little French Girls along with all of the bunnies who've stayed with us until their forever home was secured or they crossed that bridge.
