Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybun!

Somehow, the frigid, Arctic wedge of a killer cold missed us. It's a little chilly outside for the first time this week. The day we read about our friends in Austin, Texas, trying to stay alive, oak trees around here sprouted new leaves. That's the other side of that same, ominous coin. It feels too early for the oaks to grow fresh leaves. None of that is good for buns.

And how is everybun holding up through this mess? How are your buns and furry or feathery friends doing?

Looking at this temperature map, we wonder if this is something we need to prep for in La Florida. Because you know how these things go, if they're not supposed to happen here, you can bet your petunias they will. Good grief, are we looking at storing hurricane supplies for the summer and space blankets for the winter?

We'll keep you posted,
- Gus

Well here in the far Pacific Northwest of the continental US of A we had some chilly and some snow but nothing unusual and happy for that. Friends in Texas - not good at all.

I know little about Florida weather other than hurricanes but my advice would for sure include keeping about a 2-week supply of Snickers stashed.
