Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
Somewhere in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere.
Fresh greens, some pellets and no privacy in our friend's house, thump!
Greetings, Every Bun!
We evacuated at the last minute, and we are safe to ride out the rest of the storm. We set out driving at about midnight on got our friend's house in NW Florida 9 AM EST. The hoomins put us in a clothes basket. At the bottom of it was a comfy pad wrapped in 4 pee pads. Our servant would take one out once we soiled it, so we stayed dry and fresh the whole drive.
The long drive was the longest bonding session we have ever had, and I think we are a proper, bonded, prime crew! We didn't have one fight or scuffle.
Espresso performed one EBA to inspect the back of the Prius, deemed it satisfactory and ingressed back into the command module.
We had a little bit of hay in the basket, and we all snacked on it a little.
We are now set up in a temporary station with breaks to run about and stretch our paws. We are getting along very well.
Now the plan is to ride it out and see what happens next. The house in St. Pete is as border up as it could be and we will find out if any of those home improvement projects were worth a thump. It would be fantastic if the roof stayed on and everything else would be gravy.
We are counting out blessing, chillaxing and getting some rest.
We'll keep you posted.
Glad to hear that you are all someplace safe. Paws crossed for everybun affected by the hurricanes.
Nose bonks from Penny, Dougie and Audrey
The great escape. Hang on and good luck.

Ah! Good to hear that all is well :)= Sometimes intense situations can create the best bonding moments; hooray! :) Hope the roof at your home burrow stays strong!
