Here we are, Wednesday morning, getting ready to head home. We had a lot more room on the way back home. The drive took close to eight hours, but we did well. Our home was still without power. The good news is there was no damage to the house! We didn't even have water seeping into the bedrooms, so maybe that hoomin of ours did something right when patched up the cracking walls.
We got power in the house late Thursday afternoon.
Now we have a small room at our disposal since we are still sharing the house with a very pretty, little black feline. She and her hoomin are our guests until the power at their place gets restored.
The bonding we underwent during the trip stayed with us at least to some degree. Charlie does not have to be surrounded by a pen. There chases and lunges, yet we are about a parsec or two away from our pre-storm animosities.
As a side note, we are very low on disapproval, so if anybun could pitch in, that would be great :-)
Now this is the level of Lux we have become used to. Where's are welcome back home carrotinis ? ken & kaci
Being stashed in the travel module and being guests in someone else's space port probably helped the buns gain perspective on and appreciation for the home burrow :)= Good to hear all is well! One parsec at a time...

Glad to hear that you're back home (to no damage no less!) and that everybun is okay.
Mission (almost) accomplished!
They look so cozy together after the shared ordeal of Leaving the Territory. I hope it lasts. If not, maybe you can schedule another evacuation periodically.
