Mr. Bun Update

Lazy hoomin dug into the archives again. I don't mind. One less item on the pestilence list as far as I'm concerned.

He took me to the vet yesterday, so he gets the stink eye the whole weekend. Why the vet? Just a 3-month checkup. That's all. Just to pester me I guess. The vet did say that I'm in good shape. She looked me over, probed and prodded, meanie of a hoomin. Said my lungs sound good too.

He got another bunny physiology and anatomy lesson, though. The indignity. He said he'll help keep my scent glands clean. You know, some of the undercarriage bits I can't reach and clean myself anymore.

We'll keep you posted.- Mr. Bun

My sympathies, Mr. Bun. The indignities of old age can be annoying and hoomiliating but to have such a loving and caring hoomin at your side is a wonderful bunderful thing - for both of you.

Aw, no worries, Mr. Bun; you will be in a much better mood after additional snurgles and head rubs and treats :)=

Jen, technically, and I say technically because I've done a little mental arithmetic, it may not be possible to give Mr. Bun more snorgles or head rubs or anything. It is a speed of light kind of thing . . . a constant. One just can't do more. He's a sweetheart, though, and his bunny custodian, wow! Hmmm, maybe bunny-human love is limitless? Anyway, Mr. Bun, do I have your permission to use your expression "pestilence list?" I think it has a real future.

Actually AJ - the number of snorgles and head rubs goes asymptotic as it grows. It is not a constant. In fact it reaches the point where you need to give more and more just to keep up. I learned this from a bunny named Benji who was an accomplished philosopher-mathematician. And please don't start with the "pestilence list" - I get enough abuse as is.

Seriously, RG, I knew I shouldn't have gone out on a limb like that. I started wondering what you would say while I was commenting. I knew there was a mathematician in the house. Thank you for the heads up.

All this higher math has given me a headache, but let's just agree that all your efforts are never quite enough for approval. The satisfaction is in the struggle.
