Mr. Bun - back to the vet

I can't believe we're going back to the vet.

.... Houston, we have to.

Back to the vet indeed. Turns out my left rear leg is sticking out to the side and we're not sure what's going on. Mama vet said come back if I'm not at least 50% better in the morning. So here we went.

Later on the vet called. Fracture. Cast for 1-2 weeks. Spending Friday night at the vet. Should be back home by noon on Saturday.

Hoomin says he got me a new bundo, new pee box, pooch pads ( WTH are pooch pads you silly hoomin?!?). Should be all comfy now.

Houston, we sure could use some of those good vibes sent our way.

Oh, Mr. Bun! I hope you get well and feel better soon.

I Disapprove Of illnesses and other health problems affecting bunnies.

But you have a very devoted, loving hoomin, and he will do everything he possibly can to help you get better. And he will pamper you and love you and encourage you and worry about you....

I am sending you healing vibes too. Fight it, Mr. Bun. You are a strong bunny and you can pull through this.

DB, Bella, Tika & Mac disapprove of your broken leg. They (and their hoomin slaves) hope it is fit for THUMPing soon.

Our childhood rabbit Juliet, a BWB, had a cast on her leg. Rather than take her to the vet again, my mother opted to remove it herself. One of my fondest memories is of Mommy crawling around the house after that rabbit--
snip snip-hop hop--crawl crawl, snip snip hop hop, and so on. It took a long time. I suppose we could have tried to restrain her, but...
