Mr. Bun update....

Ok, ready for those cheek rubs when you are...
... ahhhhhhh, that's much better.

The stuff I have to put up. And he wonders why I nom with vengeance.

It's been a good week, even though it involved another hop to the vet on Tuesday.
We're still unsure exactly why I've been grounding my teeth. Vet didn't find any obvious candidates for a 'that is why', no obvious causes for pain.

We did find out that my bottom teeth got longer and we have to watch out for them. I have maybe 2 or 3 weeks (max) to get them under control. "Give 'im a carrot" vet says. I like that, I like that very much. Maybe the reason I've always been a connoisseur of cardboard, is that it helped to keep my teeth at the right size? I'm supposed to nom as much as possible on stick, even carrots, anything hard enough to keep my teeth in check.

Or I'll have to 'go under' to have them taken care of. And the vet does not like to put me under if it can be avoided.

Turns out I had something upper respiratory going on and I'm back on more meds. I got a shot of antibiotic and I must slurp up that lousy banana flavoured goop. Ehhhh, I tell ya.

The good news is I'm not grinding my teeth, my poops are better and my lungs sound better. Hoomin says he hear the difference.

And for something completely different, he's been humming to me 'Hoptoad Bunny, hoppin' down the av-a-new!'. His brain's turning into 'root beah', you know what I mean?

  1. Mr. Bun, I am so glad to hear about the good news and sorry about the less than good news. Please tell Mr. RB Brains that I often hear people mention organic dried apple tree branches as being perfect for bunnies to chew on. I would hate to imagine you having to settle for MRBB's baseboards. Love you, Bunny Boy. Now get all well.

  2. Stick with it, Mr. Bun. I know the nasty medicine tastes Disapprovable, but hopefully it will make you feel better soon.

We Approve Of your courage, and of course, we Approve Of the love and devotion your hoomin is lavishing on you - quite rightly, of course!
