And all the while, he pretends that he's not thoroughly enjoying that tasty bit of dandelion. He's such a cutie :)

Smart fella. I'm one of those hoomins, and I have to keep an eye on them too. One just ever knows ....

Oh, come on, Mr. Bun, you've been around the block, and RG is no block. You two have things pretty well sized up. Hoomins surprise you? I don't think so. No, no, Sir, I don't think so.

Oh, I forgot to say, if you want a surprise, an adventure, a journey into and out of and around and through the beauty and mystery of this universe, make friends with a bunn. A cross species friendship is really the only way to go for eye-opening adventures. And, of course, there is no true happiness in life without a bunny.

Alas, AJ, my very large cat family and I must wait until our family is smaller before we diversify. For now I live vicariously through all yous.

Sally, about a lifetime ago, I wanted to have kitty company so badly. I love them. My childhood cat was one of nature's noblemen. But, for some reason, people started bringing me lost and injured birds. I became acquainted with bunnies, because I NEEDED something soft and fluffy they didn't eat birds. Anyway, the decision to bring a new friend into one's menagerie is really a difficult call, and I think I have heard it is even harder with kitties. However, we could all tell you a bunch of great kitty plus bunny success stories. A friend of mine attributes it to mutual sympathy. Bunns and cats compare tails and ears and commiserate and envy each other in such complex ways that it really knits then together as a group.
