Gus, "We don't know what happened here. I think we fell asleep for a minute, and then it was too late."

Charlie, "Invincible Espresso" turns out to be a 'hoppy accident.'"

Charlie, "I had to look this one over very, very carefully. Where the thump are we hopping to with this one!?"

Bun evening, Everybun!

The big brouhaha tonight is watching if Charlie will eat and poop as usual or if there's an exciting evening of syringe feedings and medications on tap. I don't see anything going on, but my hoomin is freaking out. The last few Sundays were not exactly kind in the "business as usual" department.

We just got done with our daytime naps, we did our bin rounds, had a couple of snackers, and all seems well, but you wouldn't know looking at the hoomin. He's not gonna rest until a few more hours from now, and a whole lot more nomming of all sorts.

And for something completely different, maybe last week we arted more than we realized? The end of October and the beginning of November turned out to be darker than we could handle. The only natural response was arting, as much as could be squeezed into whatever free time there is.

We had a grand old time, noming, and supervising the hoomin. Being a studio forebun has its challenges, and rewards, of course. You have to let him work, but you also have to extract whatever treats you can. It's not for everybunny.

The serendipity of "Invincible Espresso" came when we realized he could rest his paw on a skull. Lem's "The Invincible" hung in the air that night, and the skull became the obvious choice to pull it "all" together.. Espresso, his passing, the need to art it, the obsession with "The Invincible" as a motif that won't go away.

Good night and good luck!
- Gus
