Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Espresso, "On top of my blanket cover bundo. There's a whole bookshelf above it! And spicy hay! And more book and stuff!

Greetings, Everybun!

The long-awaited roof replacement is done. It was awful loud, awful loud. My hoomin tried to soundproof our bundos, but there was no hiding from all the dull noises of nail guns, scrapers, and bun knows what else. I hid under the bed, Gus and Charlie seemed unfazed and spend a lot of time in their pillow-bundo-bunker, but that's what they do during the day.

My hoomin would stick his head under the bed and offered extra treats to see if I'm eating. Ohhh, I tell ya, the eating was good!

Of course, the absurdity of whining these days about a new roof is not lost on us.

We watched the hurricane slamming into the gulf coast. Even though we got lucky, it's awful hard to watch the landfall knowing what soggy hell awaits everybun in the monster's path.

We're watching two more systems slogging their way through the Atlantic.

We'll keep you posted,

Good news on the roof but no more singing the "Oh No don't let the rain come down. My roof's got a hole in it and I might drown..." song!

Gads those Atlantic whirlwinds just keep coming at you these days.

RG, really hoping here that if we can make it through the next couple of weeks we just might get away with it again this year.
