The Bunday Evening Thumps

Good evening, Everybun!

It drizzled, rained, and howled yesterday. There was little progress on the wall. The concrete held too much moisture, so we all had a loafing day. Then, a severe line of thunderstorms came through overnight, and now the skies turned bright and blue.

My hoomin is desperately trying to catch up on rest. At least he got a decent night of sleep - for the first time in a couple of weeks. 

We unpacked the paints for "Graham Cracker and Mel" - I had to remind my hoomin I'm not his bun - he's my painter, and I expect at least two coats in a day!

Then Charlie came over to hang out for the day - bunn life is good!

Hellos, Everybunny!

We didn't mean to do it, but we have a theme for today anyway. I guess Jim Gaffigan isn't the only one asking, "Why don't we eat something, then we'll go get something to eat?" What else are we supposed to do when we're always on vacation?

But that's us - the hoomin has something else going on. It's cool, muggy, and cloudy today. He had to put a tarp over the wall to try and protect it from getting soaked with rain. The trouble is, the rain never showed. The good news is that the wall will be ready to be painted next week. 

And he's almost done using any power tools right outside our windows. They are loud, noisy, and we hate them. Then I sayz to him, "Just be grateful you have a wall to work on!"
