PS: A bunlett; one of six we met this weekend at the meet-and-greet. They are barely a few weeks old. One of the rescue fosters got a surprise and now this rambunctious bunch will be looking for their forever homes before you know it.

Hoppy Labour Day, Everybunny!

 

We would like to wish everybun a safe and hoppy Labour Day! So make your hoomin servants labour. I mean, that's why the day is called what it's called, right? Well, I expect the usual extra chunks of pineapple and snorgles. Extra snorgles, always!

We are still watching Dorian, hoping that it will do what it's been forecast to do - turn north.

And while you're sending good vibes our, please throw in some disapproval if you can.

Bunday Evening Thumps

Espresso, "Yeah, Gus came over this morning, about 5:30 it was and thumped, and tasseled, and screeched the song of our people!"

Charlie, "Why are you looking at me like that? I don't know about this kid either."

The three other formations that showed up this weekend will not threaten anybunny here either.

Good Evening, Everybun!

The good news is that Dorian will not make a landfall in Florida. Unfortunately, it will wallop the East Coast like the Category 5 monstrosity that it is. We feel extremely lucky here, but the trouble is - this is a third catastrophic hurricane in the last three years that showed up in the area. Dorian not scoring a direct hit is just pure luck. Overall this trend is not a hoppy "new normal."

Anyway, we're glad for now, and we'll leave it at that.

Last night, Gus decided to break through the gate into Spresslandia and almost learned him a lesson or two. Our hoomins managed to intervene in time, so the loss of fur was minimal. I guess the guy loves to live on the edge. Is the hurricane not coming? No problem, he'll find a way to get a whoopin'.

Espresso, "What do you mean there are two more coming?"

"You better stock up on lettuce, hoomin, OK? And pineapple, don't forget the pineapple!"

Espresso, "The little bribette, was very yammeh: Basil, Pineapple, and a dab of Raspberry."

Hoomin, "The eye of Dorian is the size of St. Pete, for Pete's sake ;-)"

Hoomin, "Spressor, is this for real? Is this thing really going to miss us?"

Espresso, " We're watching the X close to us."

Greetings, Everybunny!

We are breathing a little easier today. The latest update from 11 AM shows the hurricane staying offshore. Our hoomins were going bonkers this week. That said, there are two more potential trouble spots brewing. Those two yellow X marks are what we'll be watching next. But for now, we'll just enjoy the long weekend. Maybe we'll test-fire the backup generator. I know, they didn't test it yet.

I hope you're happy, Gus! I'm working the weekend post; do you feel better now, Gus?

There better be extra pineapple in it for me, that's all I got to say, hoomin!
