The Bunday Evening Thumps

Charlie, "Get with it, hoomin! The answer is 'Yes, here's more cookies'!"
Charlie, "You missed a spot here ..."
Gus, "The Commissioner gotz to eat too! And no, the dandelions ain't 'hot'!"
Espresso, "And from now on that's how I expect my medications to be packaged and decorated - well done, Danielle!"
"Graham Cracker and Mel" - another Spanish Needle study.

Good evening, Everybun!

The bitter cold seems to be gone. At least for a while, it felt like a proper winter. Then the skies cleared, and somehow, the clear blue felt borderline scorching.

But it's been a good day for loafing and arting. First, Gussy got it with the clicky thing, then us, and finally, my hoomin declared it the "Spanish Needle Day" and attacked the canvas. I'm thinking he'll stop making incremental progress reports on the piece. Today might have been when the clean-up started, and the next update will be when the piece is finished. Sigh. I can only hope.

Of course, the day is still young and there shall be more arting still. The days turned blissful sometime before the Sun came up, and we'll try to stay there.

Goodnight, and good luck!

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Charlie
Gus, "Yes, 'The Commissioner' is hoppy to see you - can't you tell!?"
Gus and Charlie, "Sure, talk to the tails - see if they care."

Hellos, Everybunny!

And so proper winter arrived at our burrow. Oh, we're fine - warm and toasty, griping about the usual. I'm always looking for ways to keep my hoomin guessin', of course. It takes more than you think to keep up that indignant look.

I keep hearing this will be a day of loafing for the bi-ped, but I'll believe it when I see it. It's a nice idea, but that painting won't finish itself.

We'll keep you posted!

Hoppy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Charlie
Espresso and Charlie
"Graham Cracker and Mel" in progress

Hellos, Everybun, and Hoppy MLK Day!

It's cold-ish outside without being frigid. The perfect day to reflect on dreams, overbunning, dragging that one paw in front of the other without slipping into nightmares across that fuzzy, thin line.

It's also the last stop before before Memorial Day. We have a feeling a lot of stuff will be sorted out by then, hopefully, the way we like.

My hoomin took the plunge last night and roughed in some Spanish Needle. It feels good - this piece will be finished.

And, yes, we expect to be pampered, like we always do.

We'll keep you posted!
