The Bunday Evening Thumps

Charlie, "We'll deal with you after supper. You changed something and I need to know why!?"
Gus, "Yes, yes, I know, the 'ayes ' have it."
Gus and Charlie, "You there! Stop it, hoomin, stop it!"
Espresso, "Sure, try this at home!"

Good evening, Everybun!

We think winter has really settled in La Florida. Another Bunday and another front passed through. We went from being springy and warm yesterday to rainy and cold today, with the temps dropping rapidly. In other words, it's the perfect Loafday.
But that's for us. The bipeds, of course, have to chore to keep the place humming.

My hoomin made good on the promise of working on "Graham Cracker and Mel." Even though he spent only a few hours swinging the brush, it used up all his head space. And I sayz, "Good for him!" Today, the canvas sits covered under a cloth. No, not because it's finished but because my hoomin wants to take a break from looking at it. It's not easy to get that "fresh eye" sometimes. I have a feeling, though, that pretty soon it will be time to just let it be and move on to the Spanish Needle.

Goodnight and good luck!

Espresso, Charlie, and Gus Update

Greetings, Everybun!

It's howling outside; dogs and cats are falling from the sky - must be another Florida winter storm passing through. Of course, we're showing off our professional loafing prowess.

Spressy is doing OK with the sneezes - knock on wood and keep our fingers and paws crossed.

We could gripe about this soul-charing re-entry into post-holiday reality, but we won't. September will be here before we know it, and the whole frenzy will replay itself.

In the meantime, my hoomin is trying to wrap up "Graham Cracker and Mel." Most of the details are roughed in, except for the Spanish Needle. But for that to happen, Graham Cracker has to be completed. And we're not there yet - close but no cookie. So, guess what my hoomin is planning on doing today?

We'll keep you posted!

Alexander and Eliza

It feels like a m*nd*y's m*nd*y, and you're lucky you even get the tail fuzz.

- Thank you, Susan!

PS: Eliza and Alexander keep on living the bunn life with buntie Susan. Of course, any visits during loafing and napping hours are strongly disapproved of.

Hoppy New Year, Everybunny!

Charlie and Espresso, "I'm so sorry, Spressy, the carbon was late with treats this morning."
Gus, "A what? The Typography Annual? Like a review of the best typos of the year?"

Hellos, Everybunny!

Here's to your heads feeling better soon, dear hoomins. If you're the kind with a head that does not like you first thing M*nd*y morning on New Year's, of course. We understand.

We hit the New Year loafing, doodling, and snacking. You know - to make an example out of today for the other days if they're watching. And that's our plan for the rest of the day.

So, be well and safe, and may this trip around the Sun turn out better than the last one!

We'll keep you posted!
